An early 19thC. Le Roy Hgher. Du Roi, Palais Royal, N114, gold & enamel openface key wind pocket watch has been entered for our traditional Christmas Antiques, Silver, Watches & Jewellery sale on November 27th. The watch needs some minor attention but the enamel on the main body is in super condition. With a guide price of £300-500 the watch should attract plenty of interest.
From the same household is a Georgian 18ct hallmarked gold mourning ring with black enamelling. The ring with internal inscription, commemorates the life of a father, aged 53 & son, aged 19, who passed away within just two weeks of each other. The ring has a guide price of just £200-300.
Diamonds & sapphires always go well together & a ladies five stone yellow metal ring comprising good, white stones of approx. 2/3 carat may make a wonderful Christmas gift. This fabulous early entry a guide of £600-800.
Novelty jewellery is on the up, especially if period. A yellow metal ladies bar brooch of spider design should make its guide of £100-150. Comprising of red rubies, a single diamond & garnet, the brooch is another item that would make a fantastic gift this coming Christmas time.
Our end of year sale is always well received & thus far has set a new benchmark for the saleroom every year since we started. Entries & appraisals are invited now & if you would like to discuss this or perhaps would prefer a private visit, please call our auctioneer Paul Clark on 01579-349960 or 07756070198.
