Kate has recently returned to live in Downderry, where she grew up, after living in Cheltenham for 24 years. She trained in conservation and restoration and later in historic and decorative crafts which is where she picked up her artistic skills. She spent many years as a designer of award-winning greeting cards before returning to work with fine art and antiques. She joined Clarks in 2022.
She loves anything to do with typography, proof-reading, grammar and punctuation and is very particular over which pen she uses when cataloguing the lots. She enjoys yoga, signwriting, calligraphy and painting in her spare time as well as walks on the beach with her husband, her daughter and Boston Terrier, Sidney, the new addition to the family.
Rosie has worked in retail since the age of thirteen, including managerial roles, all around Cornwall. She is now co-manager at Clarks, where she has been since 2015. She is the youngest member of the team with multitasking, planning and organising being her greatest skill attributes. Rosie helps everyone out with her stationery purchases & her lists!
As a mum to a young daughter, Rosie doesn't get as much time to herself as she once did. However, she still enjoys crafting and listening to true crime podcasts. Being brought up by the sea in St. Ives, Rosie still loves to head to a beach for a good dog walk & sea glass hunt whenever she gets the chance.
