We at Clarks are currently fine and healthy and we want to do our best to ensure that our customers and staff remain so. We are probably not being told the whole truth about the causes behind this virus so we need to be cautious.
We have decided as a team that we will proceed with the auction on 26th March, with the following changes to our normal arrangements. This is primarily because some people need the money from sales & anticipating a full shutdown, even more so.
We will close the saleroom to the public on Friday 20th March and Monday 23rd March inclusive. Staff will be here to respond to enquiries, by phone and email and to provide condition reports so please do not hesitate to contact us.
The saleroom will be open on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th March from 10-4 for viewing, widening our normal times to reduce the density of numbers. Please be responsible & do not attend if you fall into the higher risk categories.
The saleroom on Thursday 26th March will be closed and the auction will be conducted online using the-saleroom.com and Easy Live bidding platforms. We are also able to take commission bids and for high value items we can take phone bids.
If you would like to leave a commission bid or phone bid then please email via the contact us link on our web page or hand deliver in person to our sale. Our address is on the same aforementioned page.
We appreciate the some of customers will not have used online bidding platforms and we can assist customers with this if you can contact us by phone or email.
Payment & collection as per normal thereafter but please follow our social media pages for further updates. We will be monitoring the current government advice & especially the advice offered by the WHO.
Our ethos at Clarks is to act together promote fairness and equality for all members of our community – local and global. We hope that you understand. Keep minds open, think of others & keep yourself safe.
